Psychological Evaluations in California

Adult ADHD, Adult Autism & Immigration Evaluations — Fully Online

Currently accepting new evaluation clients — no waitlist. Fully online across California. In-network insurance available for ADHD & autism assessments; payment plans available for immigration evaluations.

Whether you're seeking clarity for yourself, documentation for accommodations, or a report your attorney can rely on, a well-done psychological evaluation can change what's possible.

I offer three comprehensive types of evaluations — all conducted fully online, all delivered with plain-language written reports designed to be genuinely useful, not clinical documents you have to translate later.

How is a Psychological Evaluation Helpful?

If you've struggled at work, in relationships, or in school — or if you've tried therapy and something still doesn't add up — a psychological evaluation can help you understand what's actually going on underneath.

A comprehensive evaluation identifies strengths and areas of challenge, clarifies whether a diagnosis fits, and gives you specific, actionable recommendations. It's not a label for the sake of a label — it's a map for what to do next.

For many of my adult clients, an evaluation opens doors that were closed before: access to medication, formal workplace or academic accommodations under the ADA, disability documentation, legal support in immigration cases, or simply the clarity of finally understanding themselves after years of feeling like something was "off."

The kinds of evaluations I offer

I focus on comprehensive adult evaluations across three areas:

  • Adult ADHD — cognitive functioning, attention, memory, executive function, and co-occurring conditions like anxiety, depression, and trauma

  • Adult Autism — social communication, sensory profile, masking history, patterns of interest, and co-occurring conditions

  • Immigration evaluations — for legal cases including hardship waivers, VAWA, U-Visa, T-Visa, and asylum

What to expect

I start with a thorough clinical interview covering your history, current experiences, and what led you to seek an evaluation now. From there, we complete a series of validated assessments — questionnaires, structured tasks, and standardized measures — usually spread across two to three sessions so we're not exhausting your attention in one sitting.

After testing, I take two to four weeks to integrate all the information and write a detailed report. Then we meet one final time so I can walk you through the findings in plain language, answer your questions, and give you a written copy for your records, medical provider, employer, school, or attorney.

All sessions are conducted fully online across California, so you can complete the entire evaluation from home.

What to prepare

Since sessions are fully online, there's nothing to bring physically. Before we start, I'll ask you to share (if available):

  • Copies of any prior evaluations (psychological, psychiatric, educational)

  • Report cards, IEPs, or 504 plans if you have them from earlier in life

  • A list of current medications

  • Names and dates of any prior diagnoses

None of these are required — we can absolutely proceed without them. They just give me useful context.

Adult ADHD Assessment

For adults who've spent years feeling like they're working twice as hard for half the results — or who need documentation for medication, accommodations, or their own clarity. Neurodivergent-affirming and evidence-based.

Report in 2–3 weeks • In-network with Aetna, Optum & UHC

Adult Autism Assessment

For adults who suspect they may be autistic and are ready for a respectful, adult-appropriate evaluation — often after a lifetime of masking, or after a family member's diagnosis brought recognition.

Report in 2–4 weeks • In-network with Aetna, Optum & UHC

Immigration Psychological Evaluations

Bilingual, attorney-ready evaluations for immigration cases — hardship waivers, VAWA, U-Visa, T-Visa, asylum, and cancellation of removal. Conducted by a psychologist with extensive training and years of experience.

~3 hours across 2 sessions • Report in 2–3 weeks • Self-pay; payment plans available
